LetKnow Pay — Global crypto payment acquirer

Licenses & Compliance

Licenses

LetKnow Pay operates through the Bulgarian branch of its Estonian parent company, LetKnow OÜ. The Bulgarian branch is registered to provide crypto-asset services in the European Union under the transitional framework for Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs).

The Bulgarian branch is registered with the National Revenue Agency (NRA) license number BB-168, authorizing it to perform crypto-asset activities including:

  • Hosted custodial wallet services
  • Crypto exchange (crypto-crypto, crypto-fiat)
  • Automated API payment and fiat rails for merchants
  • White label crypto payment solutions for partners

Fiat settlement services are provided through regulated financial institutions under a clearly delineated operational model. LetKnow does not custody or process fiat from the general public.

Travel Rule

LetKnow Pay complies with EU Regulation 2023/1113, governing information requirements for crypto-asset transfers (the "Travel Rule"). We use 21Analytics for secure counterparty data exchange and ensure:

  • Transmission and verification of originator and beneficiary information
  • Pre-execution screening for all in-scope transactions
  • Authentication procedures for unhosted wallets
  • Ongoing monitoring for high-risk activity
  • Secure audit trails integrated into our broader DORA-compliant infrastructure

Our Travel Rule implementation is tightly integrated with merchant onboarding and transaction flows, including for white label partners. We act as both originating and beneficiary CASP depending on transaction direction and coordinate directly with merchants to obtain and validate necessary KYC and wallet information.

MiCA & DORA

LetKnow Pay is fully prepared for authorization under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and is already aligned with the operational, governance, and ICT risk requirements set forth by the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

Our platform is built on a SAAS delivery model, enabling both direct merchant integrations and white label crypto payment services for partners and fintech platforms.

Under MiCA, LetKnow Pay is positioned to offer:

  • Custody and administration of crypto-assets
  • Exchange of crypto-assets for fiat or other crypto-assets
  • Execution and reception of client orders
  • Hosted wallets and payment gateway infrastructure
  • Client disclosures, asset safeguarding, and MiCA reporting

Under DORA, we maintain:

  • Formal ICT governance and third-party risk management
  • Continuous system monitoring and incident reporting
  • Internal control testing, audit trails, and operational resilience plans
  • End-to-end data handling and key management within the EU

This dual compliance posture ensures that LetKnow Pay offers secure, scalable, and legally robust crypto payments infrastructure to its partners and clients—whether integrated directly or through white label SAAS deployments.

Our platform and operations are already prepared for full MiCA authorization, and our technical, operational, and risk frameworks are fully aligned with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
